DESIGNER BIO

Based out of Mexico, this Trinidadian artist is a world-renowned graphic designer, animator, and illustrator. He attended Information Graphics at the Reuters News Foundation in London along with the University of Pamplona, Spain. Growing up one of ten siblings in the Caribbean ghetto, he is inspired to create art that explores the human condition and nature. He is intrigued by island esthetics and incorporates items like old bottle caps, skulls, plantation houses, coconut trees, sandals flowers, and carnival costumes into his artwork. His utilizes crude typography, color, and texture to achieve his iconography. McShine’s unique style blurs the line of visual communication and movement. Art is a way for him to share his life experiences and tell inspirational multidimensional stories.
