DESIGNER BIO

Inspired by elaborate culture and artistic detail, bustling environments and rich sensory experiences, Mel Lim brings her joyfully expressive concepts to many creative disciplines. She received her early design education from the prestigious London Institute Central St. Martins, and graduated with the highest distinction from Art Center College of Design.

In 2005, Mel Lim launched her design led lifestyle products under the brand name JOY, bringing originality, colors, dimensionality and tactility to paper, space, home & fashion accessories and baby wear. Her work has been recognized by several international design and fashion publications and honored with numerous awards including the AIA/LA, American Graphic Design & PRINT'S Regional Annual Design awards.
