Hybrid-Design is the brainchild of husband and wife team of Brian Flynn and Dora Drimalas. With the new line of graphics for Blik, Dora's iconic critter characters crawl off the canvas and onto walls. Animal Friendlies is a "best of" Dora's iconic images including: Oma and Olaf Owl, Peter Pachyderm, Kitty Kaleidoscope, Ladies Day Out, Super Terrific, Bat Cave and Love is in the Air. But look closely; with these Animal Friendlies there is more than meets the eye.
"Since our first meetings with Blik, I wanted to make a bunch of smaller graphics that you could arrange in myriad ways to create scenes with," said Drimalas. "The Animal Friendlies collection is like my entire world of creatures coming to visit and then staying for good. I already have a whole line of them dancing down the hall."
"Riding on the tails of an already successful partnership, we determined that our second line of graphics with Hybrid-Design should break away from their past oversized pieces," said Blik co-founder, Scott Flora. "With Animal Friendlies, you have one sheet of 34 small graphics, but a number of different options to create tiny scenes, be it high on a wall or low on the ground, throughout your house or office. We love the versatility of it."
Continued Drimalas, "The small graphics are like inviting the whole family over for dinner and then they never leave. It's a wonderful energy and chaos that leaves your charmed but not overwhelmed. It's a wonderful familiar feeling."
Animal Friendlies are available online at Blik and are priced at $40 per package.
