At Blik, we may be commitment-phobes when it comes to adorning walls, but we are serious in our commitment to our community of Venice, CA and causes that inspire us. If you find yourself inspired too, join us in our mission of “Giving Back.”

Blik donates to select causes and charities in Los Angeles and around the country throughout the year.

For five days in March, Manifest Equality transformed a former Big Lots in Hollywood into a massive pop-up art gallery with over 200 of the nation’s most talented visual artists to celebrate and demand full and equal rights for all Americans. Participating artists included street artists Robbie Conal, Swoon and Shepard Fairey, and illustrative painters Barry McGee, Gary Baseman and Elizabeth McGrath.

Blik was a proud sponsor of Manifest Equality and helped to transform the raw space a sprawling gallery that hosted over 10,000 guests.

“Being a part of Manifest Equality has been a tremendous experience for Blik,” said Scott Flora, co-founder of Blik. “The high caliber of artists involved have created an inspiring visual call to action that speak volumes about the fight for equal rights.”

What we’ve done Worked collaboratively with Commune Design LA to create custom graphics for the event that included an exterior banner for the giant outside entrance sign and a quote that wrapped around the entire interior of the space, 300 feet in length.

What we’ll continue to do While Manifest Equality has ended; the fight for full and equal rights still marches on. Blik will continue to work with the Courage Campaign as they work to repeal Proposition 8.

If you find yourself inspired too, join us in our mission of “Giving Back.”
