The Psirens from Red Dwarf. These were shape-changing Geneticly Engineered Life Forms (GELFs) that used psychic illusions to lure unsuspecting space farers to their doom. These were excellent aliens as they pulled all kinds of clever shape shifting tricks to try and capture their pray…
…including shape-shifting into a vending machine.
