A VISIT TO FREDERICK FISHER & PARTNERS

A VISIT TO FREDERICK FISHER & PARTNERSLast week, Frederick Fisher & Partners hosted Blik co-founder Scott Flora. Scott spoke to the firm about Blik and shared some of the recent work by Blik Design/Build. A big thank you goes out to FFP for hosting Scott.

We wanted to share a few shots of their office in Santa Monica. A little history lesson… The FFP office was the original office of one of the most celebrated architects in Southern California (and a hero of Scott’s), A Quincy Jones, FAIA.

If you are unfamiliar with Jones, he was a LA-based architect and educator known for innovative buildings in the modernist style and for urban planning that pioneered the use of greenbelts and green design. In 1950, he began a partnership with Joseph Eichler, a post-war real estate developer known for developing MidCentury modern style tract housing in California. Jones designs are reflected in approximately 5,000 of Eichler’s homes.

Now, take a look around the FFP offices. The photos are in order of movement.
